EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - Trespassing drew the attention of the EBPD on Tuesday, leading to 2 minor drug arrests at the Transportation Center.
According to a report issued by the East Brunswick Police Department today, Ptl. Robert Theoret observed an occupied vehicle on the top level of the East Brunswick Transportation Center, 551 Old Bridge Turnpike on May 30, 2017 at 10:23 pm.
Ptl. Theoret stepped out with the vehicle and explained to the three occupants that the parking garage is for vehicles with parking permits and that "No Trespassing" signs are posted at each entrance.
While speaking to the occupants, Ptl. Theoret detected the odor of raw marijuana emanating from inside of the vehicle.
During the course of the investigation, Ptl. Theoret arrested Huma Mansuri, 30, of Edison, NJ and Ehsan Khan, 24, of East Brunswick, NJ. Both individuals were charged with Possession of Marijuana under 50 grams. Mansuri was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Additionally, all three occupants, Mansuri, Khan, and Imad Mekaoui, 23, of East Brunswick, NJ were issued township ordinances for Trespassing.
