EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - A zoning board meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 7 at 8 p.m. at the Memorial School in East Brunswick. One of the meeting's topics is the proposed development project at the intersection of Old Stage Road and Summerhill Road along the Spotswood/East Brunswick border. The projected project involves the corner property.
According to SaveFrost.com, the project will include a high rise apartment building with more than 100 rental units, a bank, a CVS and parking. Residents in both Spotswood and East Brunswick have expressed concern for the proposed 'Golden Corner' project and its environmental impact on Frost Woods as well as its effect on the traffic in the area.
The June 7 meeting is open to the public. The Memorial School is located on 14 Innes Road in East Brunswick.
