EB Rocks in Another Year of Independence on July 4

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – The Community Arts Center is really becoming the "center" of East Brunswick as yet another event is scheduled there to celebrate our nation's independence.

The Township of East Brunswick will host a July 4th Celebration & Fireworks at the Community Arts Center, 721 Cranbury Road on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. Festivities begin at 4:00 p.m. with free admission, parking, giveaways, bounce rides, face painting and balloon twisting.

There will be a watermelon-eating contest sponsored by the East Brunswick Stop&Shop; a wing-eating contest sponsored by Hooters of East Brunswick; and for dessert, a cupcake-eating contest sponsored by House of Cupcakes. Also on hand will be a variety of Food Vendors.

The entertainment kicks off at 5:00 p.m. with DJ Wacky Wayne. Then at 7:30 p.m., The B Street Band with a Tribute to the Boss will take the stage.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., the FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR will light up the sky. Bring your chairs, blankets and dancing shoes and come out and enjoy!

The event is sponsored by the Township of East Brunswick and platinum sponsor, ROUTE 18 CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM. Be sure to stop by their booth, say hello and check out their giveaways.

Parking will be available at the Community Arts Center and at Heavenly Farms. Public Safety will have all parking areas marked.

No pets, alcohol or personal fireworks are permitted.
