EB Young Adult Players Takes on a New Life

Dear Friend of EBYACP,

As you may know, last summer it was announced that the East Brunswick Young Adult Charity Players ended its run of 15 years of productions. Yet, many of us felt that it was too soon to put an end to something very important to our community.

For that reason, and many more, we are pleased to announce that we will be entering into a partnership with Playhouse 22 to continue staging productions to benefit Camp Daisy and the Daisy Association. As has been the case in the past, our shows will continue to be directed by young adults and star young adults under the age of 26.

Each of the shows will be an opportunity for young adults in East Brunswick to drive the creative process and allow them to participate in a great cause. Playhouse 22, with nearly 60 years of productions, will provide the operational leadership and backbone of this re-boot. This arrangement will allow for consistency year-to-year without jeopardizing the quality of the production.

Most importantly, this partnership and re-boot will be beneficial to Camp Daisy and the Daisy Association, who are the real winners. They are the reason why we are continuing this tradition. The founders of the East Brunswick Young Adult Charity Players established something very special in our community and it is our hope that their mission will continue for years to come under this new partnership.

In the next few weeks, we will be announcing our summer 2016 show and important audition and production dates. We hope to see many of you join us this summer for our first show!

Regards,

Ilana Keller, EBYACP Alum
Josh McCauley, EBYACP Alum
Adam Neary, Executive Producer, Playhouse 22
