SPOTSWOOD, NJ - With school in full swing, the Spotswood Public Library has a host of programs on tap for kids. They can rocket off to a galaxy far, far away or don those Halloween costumes for some early holiday fun.

On Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 6:30 p.m., Star Wars fans are invited to Star Wars Reads. Participants can make some out of the world crafts, enjoy snacks along with a few Star Wars related surprises. Kids can come dressed as their favorite Star Wars characters. Star Wars Reads is for children in grades kindergarten through sixth. Registration for this event is required and can be done online at the Spotswood Public Library's website.

On Thursday, October 27, Halloween arrives a bit early with Halloween Bingo at 6 p.m. All participants win a spooktastic prize and can come in costume if they like. This event is for children from ages five through 10. Registration is required and can be done online or by telephoning the library at 732-251-1515.
