Fall Fun Starting at Milltown Public Library

MILLTOWN, NJ - The calendar may not say fall yet, but the Milltown Public Library is unveiling programs to welcome the upcoming change in seasons.

Wednesday story time begins on Sept. 9. Lapsit story time with an adult caregiver is at 10:45 a.m. All ages are with an adult companion are welcome at 11:30 a.m. Story time classes will not be held on Sept. 23.

Monday story time will commence on Sept. 21. Class for toddlers 2 to 4 years of age start at 10:45 a.m. and children from ages 3 to 5 begins at 11:30 a.m.

Wednesday afternoon crafts start up at the library on Sept. 16 at 3:15 p.m.

Fall fun at the Milltown Public Library also includes adults. The Library Book Club will be talking about "The Man in the White Sharkskin Suit" by Lucette Lagnado on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 6:45 p.m. Copies of Lagnado's book are available at the circulation desk and the group is always looking for new members.

Knitters looking to connect with an evening group can head to the The Knitting Club. It meets on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. and also welcomes new additons.

The library also offers a Quilting Club that meets on Monday evenings from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Bridge players may be interested in heading to the Milltown Public Library's public meeting room on Fridays from 12:45 p.m. until 5 p.m. New players are wanted and instruction in the game of bridge is provided.
