Fall Sports Registration Open

SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The calandar still says summer, but the days are slowly inching toward September, which means back to school and back to sports. Two of Spotswood's popular fall sports programs are now open for online registration.

The Spotswood Soccer Club announced this week that they are currently accepting registrations for the upcoming fall season. Their website is getting a makeover, however,players can still be signed up for the start of soccer in September. If you register your child early, you can take advantage of the Early Bird discount.

Children from pre-K through eighth grade are welcome to sign up to play though your child must be four by Oct. 1 to be eligible.

Early Bird registration is from July 27 through Aug. 15 and the cost to register a child is $50. Regular registration runs from Aug.15-31 and the registration price is $15. Sept. 1-15 is considered late registration and the fee at that time will be $100.

To sign your child up, simply go to the Spotswood Soccer Club website. You must create a new account to register.

Fall baseball has become a very popular autumn sport in Spotswood and earlier this week, the Spotswood Youth Baseball & Softball League announced that their registration for fall ball is open as well. Parents and guardians can register their children online or at the in-person signup that will be held at the baseball fields on Saturday, Aug. 22 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Fall ball is offered for both baseball and softball. The registration period will end on September 1 with the autumn season beginning in mid-Spetember and running until the end of October.
