Franklin Township: Registration Open for Health and Wellness Expo at the Imperia

SOMERSET, NJ - The Imperia will host the ”3rd Annual Workplace Health & Wellness Exposition" on Thursday, Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. 

The Somerset County Business Partnership (SCBP) is presenting the event which is touted as "Somerset County’s premier and most comprehensive workplace wellness event."

“The Wellness Expo presents employers and employees with opportunities to understand first-hand how wellness benefits productivity and an enhanced bottom line for businesses of all sizes," Expo Chair Sejal Davé Sharma of RWJ University Hospital said.

Thanks in part to Healthier Somerset, the event is free to the public and will showcase countless opportunities and benefits that can be leveraged by employers who implement wellness strategies with their businesses. 

“Previous Wellness Expo events garnered rave reviews by both business owners and employees who attended,” Somerset County Freeholder Patricia Walsh, liaison to Healthier Somerset said. “This is the only opportunity in Somerset County to experience a multitude of health-related options in one place at one time.”

During the expo businesses of all sizes will learn about key resources which can benefit their employees. There will be a special focus on small and medium-sized companies.  

About the expo

The expo will offer nutritious food demos and samplings, interactive exhibits, and health screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, cancer screenings and prevention, healthy weight, healthy diet and nutrition, foot and ankle care, skin damage assessments, and stress management conducted by health professionals from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Natural Medicine, Rehabilitation and Pain Management, University Orthopaedic Associates, Anew Wellness, Saint Peter’s University Hospital, Carrier Clinic and other leading health organizations in the area.
