SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Funeral arrangements have been announced for Hinal Patel, the 22-year-old Spotswood EMS technician who was killed Saturday when the ambulance she in which was riding en route to a call was hit by a car when passing through the intersection of Cranbury Road and Ryders Lane in East Brunswick.

Patel and her partner, Mark Seube, were in the process of assisting a routine call in the neighboring town of East Brunswick at the time of the accident. Seube was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital along with the driver of the vehicle that struck the ambulance.

Services for the Piscataway native will be held on Monday, July 27, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick. The arrangements have been made via the Crabiel Home for Funerals in Milltown who have posted a copy of Patel's obituary.

In preparation for the upcoming funeral, several students from Spotswood High School volunteered their time to clean and wash the ambulances that will take part in the funeral.
