HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - Police have identified a 43-year-old Manville resident as the pedestrian killed on Route 206 Nov. 24.

Police say Miguel Martinez Cuellar was crossing the state highway just north of Partridge Road at 7:39 p.m. when he was hit by a car.

The driver of the car has been identified as Hao Wang, 52, of Morris Plains.

Route 206 was  closed for three hours late Friday night as police investigated the incident.

Police have not disclosed whether the driver has been issued any summonses or been charged in the fatality. The investigation is continuing.

Cuellar was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hillsborough police were assisted by the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office Collision Analysis Reconstruction Team.

Also responding to the accident scene were Robert Wood Johnson Emergency Medical Services, Hillsborough Fire Co. #2 and the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
