Immaculate Conception School To Hold Art Show

SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Where can you see Egyptian pharaohs, Medieval gargoyles and dinosaurs all in one place? Mark the calendar for the Immaculate Conception School Art Show. The family-friendly event will take place on Friday, May 19 at the Immaculate Conception School from 7 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the general public.

Visitors will see a whole host of art work as well as participant in some fun activities. Highlights of the upcoming art showcase include a Dreamcoat fashioned by third through eighth grade students for the school's spring production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" as well as an artrome "show within a show" of students' art work. The event will also feature an Eighth Grade Retrospective, which will showcase the work of graduating students from kindergarten through age seven.

The annual ICS Art Show will also offer craft and music workshops in addition to face painting, light refreshments and door prizes.

The Immaculate Conception School is located on 23 Manalapan Road and offers curriculum programs from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.
