Join Chargers For A Day At The Races This Summer

OCEANPORT, NJ - The Spotswood High School girls basketball program will be hosting A Day at the Races on Saturday, August 11 at the Monmouth Park Racetrack. This is the first annual day at the races for the Chargers and will feature admission to the park, food, beverages and an official racetrack program.

The cost for this summer fun fundraiser is $35 for adults and $5 for kids under 12. All of the proceeds from the event will go to benefit the Spotswood High School girls basketball program.

Tickets must be reserved by August 1 and can be picked up prior to August 11 or at the gate on the day of the event. To secure tickets to the event, send the following information along with a cash or check payment to Vincent Vizzi. Checks should be made out to Spotswood Basketball. Participants should include their:

The August 11 fundraiser begins at 11:30 a.m. Participants can enter through the Grandstand Train Gate and meet in the picnic area.

Monmouth Park Racetrack is located on Oceanport Avenue in Oceanport, New Jersey.
