All good things must come to an end.
Politics is intended to be fun, exciting, and engaging. An engaged public is always good for democracy. And clearly an incumbent with a challenger breathing down their neck can create efficiencies.
This may well be my last message. I will not be so bold as to suggest you will select me on Tuesday. But know this: If you do, it will be kicking and screaming. I don’t find any delight to enter further into the cesspool.
As for the late Assemblyman Quinn, his legacy lived on for one more campaign. Perhaps his name would be familiar to you if he had been selfish with his life decisions. But that is a story for another day…
Finally to my supporters in poverty, it has brought me great joy to see you watching this race throughout from around the state. Let us fill those young minds with knowledge. Perhaps they too may be our next Einstein? That is the hope for tomorrow.
