SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Goals by Liam Barlow and Aidan Collins helped the Spotswood High School boys varsity soccer team defeat JP Stevens High School 2-1 on Thursday. Spotswood took a 1-0 lead into the halftime break. Rikhil Badiani scored the goal for JP Stevens. Jason Schwartz made three saves in the victory for the Chargers. Sptoswood evened its shortened season record to 3-3-1.

Barlow, a senior, now has five goals in the net for his final season with the Chargers. Collins, a freshman, netted his second varsity goal against JP Stevens. Sophomore Aiden Scher and junior Chris Stanaway both earned assists in Thursday's victory. Spotswood is back on the field on Monday when the Chargers travel to Edison High School to play the Eagles.
