EDISON, NJ - Jason Schwartz earned an eight-save shutout and Liam Barlow scored two goals to help the Spotswood High School boys varsity soccer team defeat St. Thomas Aquinas High School on Monday. Gabe Rosario scored his first varsity goal and Aiden Scher added an assist. St. Thomas has not put a check in the win column yet for this shortened season. Spotswood improved its overall record to 2-3-1 and stopped a two-game losing streak with the victory. Spotswood hosts JP Stevens High School on Thursday at the Spotswood High School Varsity Soccer Field. Game time is 4 p.m.
