SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The weather feels more like March than May, but spring fun has definitely arrived at the Spotswood Public Library with events on tap for all ages.

Spring story time is already in full swing with Miss Jessica holding class for youngsters from toddlers through second grade. Tweens can enjoy some fun too on the first and third Wednesday of each month. Coming up on May 18, tweens in grades three through six can check out Vampire Night. The fun begins at 7 p.m. Tweens can be registered online or by calling the library at 732-251-1515.

Adults can join in of the fun as well with Adult Craft Night. On Wednesday, May 11 at 7 p.m., the craft will be DIY crystal wrap bracelets. Registration for is required.

The Page Turners Adult Book Discussion will be taking on "Ship of Brides" by Jojo Moyes on May 23 at 11 a.m. Find out how far these ladies will go for love.

It's tough not too feel blue with all the rain this week, so here's some library news to lift the spirits. DVDs are now free. However, the rental period is for three days instead of seven.

Donations of paperbacks are currently being accepted at the circulation desk for the upcoming Beach Reads Book Sale. The library is only taking paperbacks at this time.

The library will be closed all day on Thursday, May 12 for renovations.
