SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The Memorial Middle School will be hosting their second annual Senior Prom for local senior citizens. All area seniors are welcome to attend the toe-tapping gala that is hosted by the Memorial Middle School's National Junior Honor Society and the Spotswood PTA.

The free event will take place on Friday, June 2 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Memorial Middle School Cafeteria. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Wacky Wayne. Prom goers will enjoy a delicious selection of food, beverages and desserts.

"This is a great way to bridge the gap between generations," Spotswood PTA President Melissa Hallerman said. "It is the second year we are having the event and last year it was great to see so many young teens and senior citizens dancing, talking and eating together. It helps both generations feel like they are an important part of our community."

Area seniors interested in putting their dancing shoes on for this exciting event should RSVP to Spotswoodnjpta@gmail.com.
