The COANJ was first organized in 1920 and includes all Registers, Surrogates, Sheriffs and County Clerks in the State.  These officials work together to promote the best practices in each County office. The goal of the COANJ president is to share with the public any and all impending issues that may affect them. They also submit and advocate legislation in relation to the conduct of all the statutory requirements and duties relating to their offices.

“I would like to congratulate Elaine Flynn on this achievement,” said Middlesex County Freeholder Director Ronald G. Rios.  “Her commitment to keeping the public informed, and to working directly with them, is admirable. This quality has helped her truly earn this title and all future responsibilities.”

Ms. Flynn has been County Clerk of Middlesex County for 20 years and has directed the continual improvement of services to the public.

He appropriately intimidated freshmen, even me, an English major, who found this common core course beneath my dignity. Frankly, as a graduate of Highland Park High School, and a survivor of Mrs.
