MILLTOWN, NJ - The Milltown Police Department is asking residents for their assistance in identifying a suspect from a weekend robbery attempt. The suspect in the accompanying photograph entered the Milltown Convenience Store on South Main Street at 7 a.m. on Saturday, May 26. Wearing a mask, the individual demanded money from the store's register. After not receiving any money, the suspect fled the store and ran off in the direction of Kuhlthau Avenue.

Police are seeking any individuals who may have witnessed the crime, seen the individual fleeing the scene or can possibly identify the suspect. Anyone with information regarding the May 26 attempted robbery is asked to contact the department's Detective Bureau at 732-828-1100.
