MILLTOWN, NJ - Despite the coronavirus crisis, the borough will hold its annual Candidates Forum on Wednesday, October 14. However, unlike in years past, the public will not be invited to attend the forum due to COVID concerns. Instead, residents can view the forum live on Channel 15 and Milltown's YouTube Channel. The forum begins at 7:30 p.m. Residents and local reporters can still submit questions for the Milltown Borough Council Candidates to answer by filling out an online question submission form prior to the event. The question submission form can be found on the Milltown Borough website. Question submissions are limited to one per person according to information on the Milltown Borough website.

Milltown voters will be deciding on two open seats on the Milltown Borough Council on Election Day. Democrats James Pareti and Margaret O'Donnell both ran unopposed on New Jersey's Primary Day on July 7. Pareti was appointed to the borough council in January. Republican incumbent Councilman Ron Dixon will be seeking re-election for his seat. Former Milltown Borough Councilman and fellow Republican John Collins is also seeking one of the open council seats.
