NJ Chargers 12U Baseball Team are tournament champs at The Ripken Experience

The NJ Chargers 12U baseball team finished in first place with an undefeated record of 5-0-1 at the 2015 Columbus Day Tournament at The Ripken Experience in Aberdeen, MD.  The three-day tournament consisted of 22 teams from various states including New Jersey, New York, Virginia and Maryland. 

The final game was played against a tough opponent, The Richmond County Nationals. The NJ Chargers were trailing 5-2 going into the top of the 6th inning when their bats came alive.  They scored 4 runs in the final inning and played strong defense to secure a come from behind victory defeating the Richmond County Nationals in the championship game by a final score of 6-5.

As a side note, the NJ Chargers 12U baseball team proudly wears pink camo jerseys for the month of October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.

Rutgers Hikes Tuition, Student Fees for 2018-2019 Academic Year
