MILLTOWN, NJ - Early morning car burglaries have prompted the Milltown Police Department to remind residents to lock their cars when they are parked on the street and in their driveways.

Residents in the South Moetz Drive area may notice an increased police presence this evening due to car break-ins in that section of Milltown during the wee hours of Wednesday morning. These incidents are currently being investigated by the Milltown Police Department. Officers are also encouraging residents to telephone the police at 732-828-1100 if they notice any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods.

In order to prevent vehicle break ins and car thefts, it is always a prudent idea to lock the car even when it is parked in the driveway of a residence.
