EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - Grab some hamantaschen. (prune? poppy seed?) And, according to the Talmud, "get ready to drink more wine than you usually do." It's Purim, and three synagogues in East Brunswick really know to celebrate. Well, at least to provide family fun in the spirit of the season.
Temple B’nai Shalom, Young Israel of East Brunswick, and the East Brunswick Jewish Center will host the 2017 Annual Tri-Synagogue PurimFest carnival from 11:00-2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the EBJC at 511 Ryders Lane.
Residents are invited to join the festivities for games, food, fun, crafts, and prizes! Children can play video games, race cars, and have their faces painted while adults enjoy some treats and try their luck at the tricky tray.
