Registration Set For Spotswood Recreation Department's Summer Programs

SPOTSWOOD, NJ - With the end of the school year rapidly approaching, parents wondering what to do with their kids can check out the Spotswood Recreation Department's summer programs. Online registration opens on Saturday, June 3. All registration can be done online at the REC Department's website.

The Arts & Crafts Program runs from June 26 through July 21 from 9 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. The cost for residents is $45 per week and $55 for non-residents. The Arts & Crafts camp is for children ages five through 11 and is held at the Appleby School. It includes indoor craft activities as well as inside and outdoor supervised games.

The Tennis Program runs from July 10 through August 4 at the Summerhill Road tennis courts and is for ages eight through 14. Participants will have two one hour lessons each week. Dates and times for lessons will be determined at a later time. The cost for the tennis program is $35 for residents and $45 for non-residents.

Registration is also on-going for the Spotswood Recreation Department's Youth Football Camp from June 19 through June 23 and the Spotswood Youth Basketball Program from June 26 through June 29. Both camps will be held at Spotswood High School and will be taught by Spotswood High School coaches and varsity athletes. Registration for the football and basketball camps can be done online as well.
