EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - 19-year-old Blint Y. Pronik of East Brunswick was seriously injured in a collision at the intersection of Tices Lane and Ryders Lane on Wednesday afternoon.
Pronik was operating a 2012 Kawasaki motorcycle as he was traveling north on Ryders Lane toward New Brunswick at around 4:49 pm. As Pronik approached Tices Lane, a 2015 Subaru Forrester operated by Elizabeth Bruflodt (57) of Jackson was making a left turn onto Tices Lane from Ryders Lane south bound, says a report issued by the EBPD today.
Pronik’s motorcycle struck Bruflodt’s Subaru and Pronik was ejected from the motorcycle.
Pronik sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash while Bruflodt was uninjured. Pronik was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for treatment.
RWJUH Paramedics and Atlantic EMS were on the scene along with the East Brunswick Police.
The crash is currently under investigation by the East Brunswick Police Department Special Operations Section. Anyone with information regarding the investigation is asked to contact Ptl.
