SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Spotswood High School senior Christopher Moran has been a four-year member of the Chargers boys varsity soccer team. Moran was a part of the Greater Middlesex Conference Blue Division championship team his freshman and senior years. The title-winning season during Moran's freshman year broke a 10-year championship drought for the Chargers. Moran was named to the GMC All-Blue Division team for his play on the field his sophomore, junior and senior seasons. The Spotswood native was an All-State player for his junior and senior seasons and named to the All-Conference team his junior year. In addition to soccer, Moran was a member of the winter and spring track and field teams.

Many of Moran's favorite memories as a Charger revolve around soccer. His favorite is the overtime win against Spotswood's chief rival South River High School in overtime. The team erupted in excitement because the victory over the Rams clinched the first Greater Middlesex Conference Blue Division title in a decade. Moran will always remember the dog pile of happy players on the field at the end of the game.

His favorite classes at Spotswood High School were Probability and Statistics as well as Myth and Media. The teachers that earned the highest marks were Spotswood High School English teacher Andrew Cammarano and Mathematics teacher Meagan Morton.

Moran plans on continuing his education in college in the fall. He wants to major in Sports Management and continue to play soccer and run track and field.
