SOMERVILLE, NJ - The Division Street pedestrian mall was transformed into an outdoor workshop for artists yesterday as a steady stream of visitors perused paintings, handmade jewelry, ceramics, clothing and other original artwork.

The CC Coletti Acoustic Trio provided live music all day from a small stage.

The artists will return Sunday for the second day of the Arts on Division Jazz Festival Art Market in Somerville, with live performances and visual art displays beginning at noon.
Graffiti artists were hard at work creating original works on large murals which will be displayed downtown; a few hundred feet away, youngsters were on their hands and knees creating their own original works of art with chalk on the concrete.
The CC Coletti Acoustic Trio  will perform again on Sunday from 1:15-2:45 p.m., followed by John Busse from 3:15-4:45 p.m. and The Bob Lanza Blues Band from 5:15-6:45 p.m.

Sunday's event will be in conjunction with the final day of the Central New Jersey Jazz Festival from 1-6 p.m. on East Main Street adjacent to the lawn surrounding the Somerset County Courthouse.
There is no admission charge for either event.
