MIDDLESEX, NJ - The Spotswood High School boys varsity soccer team won their third straight game on Friday, September 16, defeating Middlesex High School, 3-1. Nick Moran continued his goal streak, netting two goals for the Chargers. The senior's goal total on the season is now 12. Fellow senior Ryan McCook scored the other goal for Spotswood. Matteo Tavella and Andrew Oross both had assists in the victory.

Dan Alarcon scored the lone goal for Middlesex and Reony Hislop earned an assist. Chris Caudcos made five saves for the Blue Jays. Freshman Andrew Bishara and junior Matt Evanego split time in goal for Spotswood. Bishara made two saves while Evanego made one.

Spotswood took a one nothing lead into the halftime break before netting two additional goals in the second half to lock up the win. Alarcon scored Middlesex' goal in the second half. The victory brings the Chargers' overall record on the season to 4-1. They will take the field on Monday, September 19 with a 4 p.m. home game at the Spotswood High School Varsity Soccer Field against Woodbridge High School.
