SOUTH AMBOY, NJ - After narrowly missing out on their first win of the season, the Spotswood High School boys tennis team bounced back against South Amboy High School on Tuesday, defeating the Guvs, 5-0. All of the Chargers singles players, including Derek Miller, John Tobia and Ryan Miller won their matches in straight sets as did the doubles teams of Matt Evanego and Stephen Gardner and Matt Chludzinski and Josh Mathew.

Their win evens the Chargers early season record on the court to 1-1. Spotswood travels to Columbus Park in Piscataway on Wednesday to take on Dunellen High School. Matches begin at 4 p.m.
