SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The Spotswood High School boys varsity soccer team won its second straight game, defeating Highland Park this afternoon, 4-1. Their win increases their overall record to 10-6.

Dylan Blado, who scored yesterday's overtime winner against South River, had another big game. He knocked in two goals and notched an assist. Senior John Reyes netted his third goal of the season while junior Ryan McCook scored his first. Andrew Oross also had an assist in the victory. Zach Rodrigues made 10 saves for the Chargers.

Highland Park's lone goal was scored by Matt Landis. Jonah Beberman earned the assist. Farhan Rozaidi made 17 saves in goal for Highland Park.

Spotswood scored two goals in each half to secure the win. Their next matchup will come on Saturday, October 17 against North Brusnwick in a 10 a.m. game.
