NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - The Spotswood High School boys varsity soccer team lost to North Brunswick yesterday afternoon, 2-1.

Nick Evanego scored the lone goal for the Charges. Zachary Miller assisted on the score. Sophomore Matt Evanego made his first start in goal for Spotswood and had a busy afternoon, making 13 saves.

Xavier La'Mar and Chris Shamy each netted goals for North Brunswick while Chris Martinez and Davide Sousa both had assists. Pawel Dzielski made nine saves for the Raiders.

The Chargers will be the eighth seed in the upcoming NJSIAA Tournament next week. They will take on ninth seeded Holmdel on Tuesday, November 3 in the first round of the tournament.
