CARTERET, NJ - The Spotswood High School boys varsity basketball team didn't miss a step after a week off. They won their tenth straight game, beating Carteret 58-47. 

Spotswood jumped out to a ten point lead in the first quarter and went into the halftime break up 29-22. The Ramblers made a second half run, but the Chargers held them off. Their victory moves the Chargers overall record to 14-1. They remain undefeated in conference play at 6-0.

Eric Dadika had another strong performance, netting 17 points. Senior Marlon Hart and junior JT Vento both contributed 14 points to the win while Andrew Fuzesi scored ten. Sophomore Vinnie Guardiola chipped in two.

Naafi Powell had the hot hand for Carteret, scoring 22 points for the Ramblers.

Spotswood's next test will be against Iselin Kennedy at home on Friday, January 29 at 6 p.m.
