SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Fall has arrived and it won't be long before the annual ritual of raking leaves begins. Starting on Saturday, October 2, the borough's Department of Public Works will begin providing residents with free leaf bags. Bags will be available for pickup on Mondays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in October. During the month of November, bags can only be picked up on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The leaf bag distribution will continue only while supplies last.

The leaf bags should be used for leaves only. Leave collection will begin on Monday, October 26 and continue through Monday, December 21. Residents can find additional seasonal information in the DPW's fall brochure. The 2020 fall brochure is available online at the Spotswood Borough website.
