HOLMDEL, NJ - The Spotswood High School varsity football team remained undefeated, beating Holmdel High School under the lights on Friday, September 16, 27-13. Quarterback Nick Mohr completed six of eight passes including a touchdown throw to Nick Vincelli to help nail down Spotswood's second victory of the young season. Vincelli also rushed for two additional TDs, giving him 18 points on the evening.

Jack Keenan rushed for 103 yards on 20 carries for the Chargers. Keenan scored the fourth touchdown of the game for Spotswood. Both of Holmdel's touchdowns came in the first half. Senior Ryan Szatkowski connected on three of Spotswood's extra points and also had two key interceptions in the win.

The Chargers will play their first home game of the 2016 season on Saturday, September 24, taking on Middlesex High School at 1 p.m.
