SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The Spotswood High School girls varsity basketball game is hosting the team's annual charity game on Thursday, February 6 at the Spotswood High School Gymnasium. Each season, the Chargers dedicate one of their remaining home games to a local charity. The February 6 game is against the Woodbridge Barrons. The junior varsity squads take the court at 4 p.m. and the varsity teams take over at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $3 for adults and $1 for seniors. Students without ID will be asked to pay $2. Children are free. The charity game will also feature a 50/50 raffle. All the proceeds from the games will go to benefit Alzheimer's New Jersey. Alzheimer's New Jersey assists people and families impacted by Alzheimer's and dementia. Last season the team played their annual charity game to benefit Nicholas' Trek with Tourettes.
