SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Spotswood's Erin Thuring had another multiple goal game as she netted two in the Chargers 3-0 shutout over South Plainfield High School on Wednesday, September 28. Danielle Wittig scored the other goal for Spotswood as the girls varsity soccer team increased their overall record on the 2016 season to 6-2. Sophomore Amber Meagher notched three assists in the victory for the Chargers.

Spotswood fired 19 shots at South Plainfield's Brianna Slover. Slover made 16 saves for the Tigers. Lizzie Vignuolo made seven saves for Spotswood to earn her fourth shutout of the season.

Weather permitting, Spotswood will travel to Middlesex High School on Friday, September 30 for a 4 p.m. away game.
