Spotswood High School Jazz Band To Hold Free Concert


SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Enjoy an evening of toe-tapping jazz music as well as an entertaining eclectic mix of musical talents with the Spotswood High School's annual Jazz and Such concert on Thursday, March 30 at 7 p.m. the Spotswood High School Cafetorium. The free event features the debut of the 2017 Spotswood High School Jazz Band and also showcases performances from the high school's Music Club.

The Music Club has been an extra-curricular activity for students at the high school for the past five years. It is under the direction of veteran educator Christopher Talish, who has been a science teacher at Spotswood High School for the past 16 years. This year's club includes 15 members.

The Jazz Band is under the direction of Spotswood High School Band Director, Sarah Carino-Koza. Carino-Koza has been the Chargers' band director for the past 14 years.

Admission to the Jazz and Such concert is free and open to the public. Spotswood High School is located at 105 Summerhill Road.
