SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Each spring, Spotswood High School holds an Art Show in its Media Center. The event coincides with the spring concert from the Spotswood High School music program. SHS's art and graphic arts departments showcase student work at the show that is always well-attended. In addition to the many individual student works, seniors get the opportunity to share multiple works. The 2020 Spotswood High School Art Show was canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic. However, Spotswood High School Art teacher Alyson Collins created a virtual Art Show featuring the work of her senior AP Art Studio students. The virtual Art Show will be emailed to Spotswood High School faculty members on Wednesday, June 3 and will also be included in the high school's next newsletter installment put together by Spotswood High School Principal Amy Jablonski. The gallery can viewed on the Spotswood High School website as well beginning on June 3. Students featured in the virtual art show include Yanni Hatzistefanis, Lily Siglam, Sarah Oross, Sheliza Dollete and Victoria McGrath.

"These students have worked extremely hard all year, and they have met and exceed the challenges of working and creating art from home," said Collins. "It takes a village to raise a child and this village we call our Spotswood School District has lent their hand at helping raise an amazing bunch of AP Art students."
