SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Spotswood High School winter athletes were honored for their accomplishments on Monday, March 20.

The winter sports season featured varsity and junior varsity teams in wrestling, basketball and winter track. This winter season was also highlighted by varsity cheerleading. Athletic director Bill Visokay started off the festivities before handing over the microphone to his winter coaching staff.

"We have a very special group of people here this evening who have a rare ability to enter a child's mind," Visokay said of his winter coaching staff. "It's as if their ability to get there gives them the right to stay forever. So it is to the entire winter coaching staff for their attempt to positively impact the lives of our student athletes I would like to sincerely say thank you. I believe you folks are the best in the GMC and some of the best people around in the state of New Jersey."
