SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The Spotswood Municipal Drug and Alcohol Alliance has begun collecting for their annual holiday Toy Drive. Donations of a new toy for either a boy or girl from the ages of newborn through 18 will be accepted at the Spotswood Municipal Complex through December 10. Residents can also make monetary donations or give gift cards. Monetary donations will be utilized to purchase gifts larger presents for older kids such as kindles and iPads.

All of the donations from the drive will be given to the children at Saint Peter's Hospital in New Brunswick to brighten up their holiday season. This successful toy drive has been a borough mainstay for the past ten years.

All toys should be unwrapped. Stuffed animals cannot be accepted since the gifts are going to patients in the St. Peters Hospital Children's wing. Cash, checks and gift cards can also be dropped off at the Spotswood Municipal Complex. Checks can be made out to the Spotswood Municipal Alliance.
