Spotswood Prepares For Potential Snow Emergency

SPOTSWOOD, NJ - In anticipation of the possible snowstorm poised to hit the tri-state area, residents are being asked to refrain from placing garbage cans curbside until the evening of Thursday, March 16 in order to allow plows to pass easily down roadways. Garbage collection scheduled for Tuesday, March 14 will be picked up on Friday, March 17.

The boro offices on 77 Summerhill Road will be closed on Tuesday, March 14 due to the impending storm.

Residents are also being reminded to keep snow emergency roadways clear of all vehicles during the storm, which is forecasted to being shortly after midnight on Tuesday, March 14.

  • Burlington Avenue from Brunswick Avenue to Jackson Street
  • Crescent Avenue
  • Daniel Road

  • Eisenhower Avenue
  • George Street
  • Kane Avenue from Adirondack Avenue to Madie Avenue
  • Main Street
  •  Manalapan Road
  • Marlboro Road from Manalapan Road to Somerdale Avenue
  • Mundy Avenue
  • Old Stage Road
  • Snowhill Street
  • Summerhill Road
  • Vaughn Avenue
  • Vliet Avenue from Main Street to Orchard Street
  • Wilson Avenue

The entire length of snow emergency streets should be kept clear of vehicles except where noted.
