SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The Spotswood PTA is calling all parents and guardians to help start a new Thanksgiving tradition of giving each November that celebrates the contributions of teachers and support staff by making a Pie Patch at each of the district's schools.

Parents and guardians can sign up via an online link at SignUpGenius to send in a pie to one or more of the Spotswood School District schools on Wednesday, November 22 between 7 a.m and 9 a.m. Pies can be homemade or store-brought and should be brought in containers that don't need to be returned. A $5 donation can also be sent in and the Spotswood PTA will use the money to purchase a pie.

After school, Schoenly, Appleby, Memorial and Spotswood High School teachers can choose a pie from the Pie Patch to enjoy with their family on Thanksgiving Day.

Questions or concerns about the Thanksgiving Pie Patch can be emailed to Spotswood PTA President Melisa Hallerman at mhallerman@comcast.net.
