SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Libraries across the state celebrate Makers Day each March with fun, hands-on STEM-centered activities. This year the event will be celebrated virtually March 19 and March 20 with events on the NJ Makers Day website. The Spotswood Public Library is marking this year's NJ Makers Day a monthly event with to-go Makers kits for kids and families to do at home. The to-go kits are age appropriate and include STEM and STEAM activities. Kits have all the necessary materials and instructions as well as reading suggestions to go along with the project. Registration can be completed on the Spotswood Public Library's website. Supplies are limited. Once registration is completed, patrons will be contacted by the library to arrange a pickup time. Kits must be picked up within a week or the registration will be canceled.
