Spotswood Recreation Department To Offer Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y Coaching Clinic


SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The Spotswood Recreation Department is hosting a Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. coaching clinic on Saturday, September 23 from 8:30 a.m. until noon at the Spotswood High School Media Center. The cost of the class is $30.50.

All students must pre-register and complete the entire class in order to receive their Rutgers certification. Instruction begins promptly at 8:45 a.m. Walk-ins will not be accepted on September 23.

Participation in the class satisfies the state requirement for all youth sports coaches and is accepted by all area youth sports organization. The next Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. coaching class will not be offered in Spotswood until March.

Coaches are needed for the upcoming fall season for both the Spotswood Soccer Club and the Spotswood Youth Baseball and Softball League.
