SPOTSWOOD, NJ - It's back-to-school time whether it is the annual ritual of the school supply list hunt or clothes and shoe shopping. In honor of the usual August quest for back-to-school items, the Spotswood ShopRite is hosting a Back-to-School Fair on Wednesday, August 15 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. to help parents get ready for the first day of school and beyond.

The family-friendly, free event will feature healthy school lunch and snack ideas in addition to child-centered activities. Participants can try samples of nutritious lunchbox meals as well as learn more about ShopRite's free individual and family nutritional counseling along with shop-a-long store grocery tours. Back-to-School Fair visitors will also have the opportunity to register for prizes.

The Spotswood ShopRite is currently holding a School Supply Drive to assist area families in the often costly end of summer, back-to-school supply shopping. Donation bins are located at the front of the store near the checkout lanes. Suggested donation items include crayons, pencils, pens, markers, loose leaf papers, scissors, notebooks, binders, pencil cases and backpacks.

The Spotswood ShopRite is located at 380 Summerhill Road.
