SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The Spotswood Volunteer Fire Department will be putting out laughs instead of fires on Saturday, March 21 when the department hosts a Comedy Night featuring Paul Venier at the Spotswood Firehouse from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person and include the show, a hot/cold buffet as well as beer, wine and soda. All the proceeds from the event will go towards helping the department purchase new gear and equipment.
Paul Venier started his show business career as a rocker, playing in the 70s band Stark Naked. The native New Yorker eventually settled along the Jersey Shore and found another passion besides music; comedy. Venier has been performing steadily in comedy clubs ever since. He is currently involved in a tour with stops in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. His performance at the Spotswood Fire House on March 21 is one of eight tour dates for 2020.
