Star Power: Step on Up for the East Brunswick Celebrity Dance-Off

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - Come and meet those dancing feet at the East Brunswick Celebrity Dance-Off this Sunday.  Local "celebs" will "Dance Through the Decades" with professional partners to raise money for the East Brunswick Education Foundation.  Place your votes, make your donations, and cheer on the contestants.

The EB Celebrity Dance-Off is an exciting fund raising event that will be held at 7:00 PM on Sunday, October 15th, 2017 at the JMPAC located at Hammarskjold Middle School, 200 Rues Lane.

The event will feature celebrities from around East Brunswick paired with dance professionals vying for the coveted Championship Trophy.

An elite panel of judges will provide input, but the winner will be decided by audience votes.

New Brunswick Prisoner Reentry Site to Open Tomorrow

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Former Gov. Jim McGreevey, who has made prisoner reentry programs his major focus, will be on hand tomorrow to open a new site on Livingston Avenue. 

McGreevey runs the New Jersey Reentry Corporation (NJRC), a nonprofit agency serving court-involved individuals. The opening is set for 11 a.m. at  57 Livingston Avenue, Unit 3, New Brunswick, N.J.

Somerville Grieves Over Death of Jerome Gonzalez, a Modern-Day Renaissance Man

SOMERVILLE, NJ - Jerome Luiz Gonzalez, a devoted father, artist, author and the heart and soul of the burgeoning downtown arts community, died early Saturday morning, Feb. 19 pursuing another one of his passions, competing in an endurance race in North Carolina.

A 1992 graduate of Somerville High School and a resident of Bridgewater, he was 44.
