Step Into Summer Early With Family-Friendly Fun In Helmetta

HELMETTA, NJ - The calendar doesn't officially say summer and Mother Nature doesn't seem to be sure what season it is, but get started on the summer fun early with the upcoming family-friendly events in Helmetta.

Enjoy an evening of music under the stars on Friday, June 9 for Music in the Park at the Maple Street Pavilion. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to savor the sounds of "Justin & Alina." The concert will be held from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Fishing enthusiasts will want to head to the Maple Street Park and Helmetta Pond on Saturday, June 10 for the annual Fishing Derby. The Derby will be held from 9 a.m. until noon.

For baseball fans, there's still time to snag a seat on the Sunday, June 11 bus trip to see the Trenton Thunder. Bus transportation and a ticket to the game are only $5 per person. Call 732-521-4946 ex 116 to reserve a seat.
