SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Teacher letters went home last week for the Schoenly School and Appleby School. For Memorial Middle School and Spotswood High School students, schedules are now available on the district's Genesis system.
Through Genesis, parents and guardians of middle and high school students can access schedules, monitor grades, receive mid-marking period progress reports and report cards. Since both schools have gone green, parents and guardians must make sure they have a valid, working account.
For incoming freshman, the account that was set up at Memorial in sixth grade simply moves over to the high school. Incoming sixth grade parents and guardians will need to set up their accounts. That can be done by emailing email@example.com in order to request a new account.
There is also a workshop devoted to Genesis training for parents and guardians who are new to the system on Thursday, August 27 at 6 p.m. at the Memorial Middle School.
If any freshman or sixth graders were unable to access their schedules on Genesis, they will be available at the orientations on Thursday, August 27.
The freshman orientation at Spotswood High School begins at 8:30 a.m. while the Memorial Middle School orientation for sixth graders starts at 9 a.m. Students who are new to the high school and middle school are also invited to attend the orientations.
