SPOTSWOOD, NJ - For parents looking for some free fun during the Spotswood School District's upcoming week-long break, check out the swinging spring activities at the Spotswood Public Library. Spring break officially begins for students in the Spotswood District after school on Friday, April 7. Spotswood Public Schools will be closed from Monday, April 10 through Friday, April 14. School will resume on Monday, April 17.

Join Girl Scout Troop 80862 on Friday, April 7 at 3:30 p.m. to fashion fabulous flowers from coffee filters. The event is open to all ages and will celebrate the onset of spring, a week off from school as well as the Spotswood Public Library's 80th anniversary.

On Tuesday, April 11 at 2 p.m. children in grades kindergarten and up can get buzzing with Bunny and Bee Crafts. Wednesday, April 12 will feature a showing of Disney's latest cartoon adventure, "Moana." The show begins at 2 p.m. Kids must be accompanied by an adult. Limited seating is available for the movie, therefore registration is highly recommended.

Youngsters can flock to the library on Thursday, April 13 at 2 p.m. to create beautiful Birds & Butterfly Crafts from clothespins. This event is open to children in grades kindergarten and up. Registration is required.
